Welcome Back Toronto Craft Alert!

Local favorite the Toronto Craft Alert (the TCA) is back from its 6 month hiatus! They are switching up the content a little, no longer accepting submitted listing and moving to more personal content on "great exhibitions, makers, etc. worthy of sharing with y'all". Never fear - resources for artists and craftspeople in Toronto are still found on their forums, including Craft Shows - Vender Calls and Exhibitions - Calls for Submissions sections.

We here at the Toronto Etsy Street Team look forward to seeing what they come up with and reading all new Toronto crafty news. We missed you - welcome back!

Vender Call: SpeakEasy

The SpeakEasy Craft Shows are notorious for bringing Crafters, Artists and Designers together in a unique venue to share their creations with the community. Our vendors are chosen for their unique style, quality and originality of design. Jump on down to the Gladstone this April for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Show Date: Thursday, April 7th, 2011
Submission Deadline: Thursday, February 3rd, 2011
Submission Fee: Free
Participation Fee*: $40.00


Interested in showing your work?
Submitting work for consideration is easy. Show us what you got, and what you want to do. Email us samples of your work (max. 5 low resolution JPGs), along with a short bio and a description of the work you will be presenting. Do not send originals, PDFs or web links.

Contact Information (Phone, Cell, email)
Website (If you have one)

Vender Call: Bazaar of the Bizarre

New T.E.S.T. member Plastik Wrap is pleased to announce, that we are organizing a spring version of the "The Bazaar of the Bizarre"!

If you have not been before, check out our past events here.
We would like to invite you to join us at the spring Circus Side Show!

Artists, clothing designers, craft-folk, publishers and other independent makers of all things exotic, whimsical and macabre are encouraged to join us for this eccentric marketplace to be held at the Pia Bowman ballet school (6 Noble st.) on Sunday, March 20th/2010. The event is free for public to attend and is open from 11am till 7pm.

We are quite excited about having a spring edition of this successful marketplace. If you would like to be a part of this event an online application form is available here.

This is a jurried application, we do not guarantee a space for everyone who signs up. So please fill out your application to the best of your abilities.

Please note, the application deadline is February 5th.
