Vendor Call: Annex Flea, Valentine's Edition

Hello Vendors!

Hot on the heels of the Holiday Market, the Annex Flea returns February 9th, 2014 for the much-anticipated Valentine’s Edition!

That’s right, the Annex Flea is back at the Centre for Social Innovation at 720 Bathurst Street. If you weren’t in the last market, and have never been there, it’s a big meeting space with a delicious coffee place, high ceilings, dark wood décor, and a generally good vibe. It’s a 2 minute walk south of Bloor on Bathurst.

The detailsː 10’x10’ spaces (with one table) are going for $90. There are limited numbers of half booths (with one table) for $50. The venue has tables on site that we will be using in a variety of shapes and sizes, so if you require something specific, please let us know with your application. The market’s hours will be 10am-4pm, so set up will start at 8:15am or so, and we hope to be out of there by 5pm, free to go relish in our profits and purchases.

We would like this market to have a very clear ‘saucy’ theme – think the chapter right before the naughty one in an old romance novel – and we will market it along the line of “What you need for your vintage/handmade Valentine’s fantasies.” To that end, with your application, have a think and tell us about how you might make that connection. The link can be tenuous – “He was a leather worker, and she was looking for a new pair of gloves…” – but it is necessary. If you’re stumped, send us a list of some of your items, and we’ll figure out something that works for all parties.

Intrigued? Send us a message! Vendors will also get a ‘featured vendor’ post on the homepage of the website. We’ll cycle them through, but the earlier you get your name in, the quicker you’ll be highlighted online.

To apply, send us an email including your name, your business name, a contact phone number, your website (if you have one), your saucy thoughts (… about your product) and a photo or two of your wares. The deadline for applications is January 20th, 2014.

We hope to speak to you all soon!
