Etsy: Made In Canada


We've already received many, many fabulous applications... but luckily this is going to be our biggest show yet! There is still time to apply, but that deadline is approaching. So, don't hesitate.

The application deadline is July 7th, midnight, Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
We mean it. Don't be disappointed. Be sure to get your application in.
 
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
 
When is the show? September 27th, 10 am to 4 pm
Where is the show? Our show is at MaRS, in the attrium 101 College St, Toronto, at University Avenue
Who can apply? Etsy shop owners selling handmade or vintage goods 
How much does it cost? $50 for a 6' by 2.5' table and one chair  
Can I use my own clothing rack instead of a table? Yes! Please let us know on your application. We are hoping to create a clothing vendor area with a place to try on clothing.
Can I rent a second chair? If you reserve a second chair upon acceptance, you can rent one for an additional $7.
Can I bring my own table and/or chair? No, sorry.
Can I apply if I am not a member of TEST or 416Hustler? Yes!
What if I live far from Toronto? Check out the Etsy: Made in Canada portal to find the nearest Etsy: Made in Canada event to you!

Art news: Pride in Toronto






It's World Pride in Toronto!

If you're looking for some art with your Pride celebrations, check out Pride in Canada which features mosaics from TEST's own Natalie Jubb of Fragmentalist.

Opening today and running for 10 days until July 5th is the Pride in Canada exhibit. This show features 11 amazing artists and sculptors. The gallery at Artscape Youngplace (180 Shaw St., #107) is open 12-7 pm daily. The Gala Opening Party is this Friday June 27th, 6-11 pm. There'll be wine & music, it's free, and you're invited.

Vendor Call: St Michael's Holiday Bazaar

St. Michael's FUNraisers are planning on hosting their 2nd annual Holiday Bazaar on Thursday, December 4th, 2014. 

All applications are due by September 1, 2014.  All approved applicants will be notified by September 18th (at the latest) and will be required to sign a vendor agreement with the St. Michael’s Foundation.

December 7, 2014 Silver Bells Christmas Market & Craft Show – Oakville

The Silver Bells Christmas Market & Craft Show is a first annual event at the SVCC banquet complex in Oakville. Hosted by the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada (UWAC), the event is intended to become an annual “one-of-a-kind” show and sale allowing local artisans to sell their unique and original merchandise. Vendor Call: Crafts at the Back



The new monthly craft market in the heart of Little Italy (at Back Space Toronto, 587A College Street), Crafts at the Back is looking for vendors! The first show will be Sunday, July 6th and they will continue to be held on the first Sunday of the following months!

8ft tables: $40
4ft space: $25

Etsy: Made in Canada Day, Toronto Edition at MaRS! Applications are OPEN!

On September 27th, 10 am to 4 pm, the Toronto Etsy Street Team in collaboration with 416Hustler will be hosting the Toronto Edition of Etsy: Made in Canada Day!

We will be taking over the large atrium of Etsy Canada's home at MaRS, which is in the heart of the city at College St and University Avenue. There will be simultaneous shows at OCADU, here in Toronto, and in more than 30 towns and cities from coast to coast. This nation-wide event will get nation-wide promotion! Etsy is planning a Canada-wide media blitz. This event will get noticed, and participating in Etsy: Made in Canada will get you and your handmade or vintage Etsy shop noticed.

In the spacious venue we will be hosting more than ONE HUNDRED vendors. Have you ever wanted to take part in one of our shows? Now's the time! With a venue this large we can accommodate the range of fabulous shops in Toronto. Plus, while applications will be juried to gather the best, this show is open to any handmade or vintage Etsy seller. Team membership is not required - but you do need an Etsy shop.

Each vendor will get their own 6 foot by 2.5 foot table and one chair for the affordable price of $50.

Call for volunteers: The Toronto Clothing Repairathon

The Toronto Clothing Repairathon is looking for volunteers. We are a group of volunteers who love sewing and host free clothing repair events across the city. We need your help! Volunteers of all skills levels are welcome. We do repairs by hand and by machine. 

Our next will be later this summer and we are planning one at the  St. Lawrence Farmer’s Market.
