Canada 150+ at the Toronto Etsy Street Team Gallery

Join us this Friday, June 30, at the Toronto Etsy Street Team Gallery, 906 Queen St W from 6 to 9 pm for the opening of our Canada 150+ show! For the entire month of July we are hosting an art and craft show featuring Canadian makers wares inspired by Canada.

After about 4 billion years of geological history, and 14,000 years of human history, we're taking the 150 year anniversary of Confederation as our cue to examine this country through art and craft. Artists and artisans will be showing work inspired by our environment, history and people, experiences of immigration, nature, geography and more.

Vendor Call - Canada 150

July 1- 30, 2017: Opening Canada Day, 6 - 9 PM

Toronto Etsy Street Team gallery
906 Queen St W, Toronto

The Toronto Etsy Street Team gallery is curating a group art and craft show to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday! 4.2 billion years of geological history, 14,000 years or so of human history, but the century and a half since Confederation gives us a reason to investigate our country.
Submissions sought which express Canada, its geography, history, people, wildlife, quirks, politics and what Canada means to you.
The show is open to all media! We welcome submissions from artists who think of themselves more as handmakers and craftspeople including but not limitted to sewists, quilters, textile makers, toy makers, clothing designers, jewellery makers, ceramicists, potters, woodworkers, and more, as well as fine artists.
Celebrations and critiques of Canada are equally welcome. Art is a means of expression whether about #Canada150 or #Resist150. This is a juried show but we encourage you to apply!

This application is open to all Toronto artists and handmakers,
with preference given to members of the Toronto Etsy Street Team.
We especially encourage our team members to apply!
Application closes June 14th, so apply now! Click the image above (or go here) to go to an embedded form, if those don't work for you try this link instead:
