VINTAGE & RETRO VENDOR CALL: Fab '40s Day at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site - June 18, 2017 - 12-4pm

Hey all you vintage & retro Etsy shop owners, this is a vendor call for a fun show happening at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site on June 18, 2017.

The event is called Fab '40s Day! They are looking for vintage/retro vendors with the 40s theme in mind. You are even encouraged to dress 40s style if you'd like, there's going to be a costume contest for attendees - so fun! Wear your best pin up outfit and victory rolls or bring your sweetheart.

Tables are FREE and the event is June 18th, 2017 from 12-4pm. It's going to be a day filled with live band, swing dance demos, fashion presentations with Q&As, and tours of the historic 1940s cottage with samples of wartime recipes.

It's going to be swell!

Vintage vendor call: Toronto Vintage Clothing Show & Toronto Antique and Vintage Market on March 5 & 6, 2016 at QE Building Exhibition Place

Calling all Etsy vintage vendors!  The Toronto Vintage Clothing Show & Toronto Antique and Vintage Market is happening this March 5 & 6, 2016 at the QE Building, Exhibition Place.

Catherine Knoll, the show organizer, has nicely offered any TEST vintage members interested in vending at the show a discount of $25 off the booth fee when they book online via the show Shopify site. The fee covers both Saturday and Sunday.  You can split a booth with another vintage seller if you'd like (arranged on your own). Load in for vendors will be Friday, March 4th. Vendors are required to participate both days of the show.  They can set up an Etsy vintage area if there is a good number of Etsy vendors.

If you are interested in sharing a booth, you can leave a comment below and another vintage vendor might like to share with you to split the show fee.  This is a great vintage show with lots of foot traffic and shoppers to both the Vintage Clothing Show and the Antique/Vintage Market all happening under one roof!

VINTAGE Vendor Call for The Toronto Etsy Street Team presents A Christmas Marketplace!

Calling all Toronto Etsy Street Team Vintage vendors!  This year the Toronto Etsy Street Team is hosting A Christmas Marketplace on December 12, 2015.  This is a smaller sized show and vendors will have the opportunity to share an 8 foot by 2.5 foot table.  You will have a 4' x 2.5' space in the main body of the church.  Or you can bring your own table/display for the all-purpose room (where treats and workshops will be).  

We are looking to involve more Toronto Etsy Street Team Vintage members to sell at this juried market.  This smaller show might be a great way for newer vintage TEST members to actually "test" the waters and try out vending at a holiday show. You'll be able to curate your best selection of vintage goods or clothing for the event!  Holiday shoppers looking for vintage will be able to shop your edited pick of vintage treasures.  The application deadline is November 6th, 2015, more details below.

We're planning an intimate show at this smaller, but central venue and we will be accepting a juried group of handmade and vintage vendors. Vendors have a choice of sharing one half of a 8 foot by 2.5 foot table (or 4' x 2.5') in the main body of the church, or bringing their own table/display for the all-purpose room (where the treats and workshops will be!)

We have 4 ETSY VINTAGE VENDORS that would like to participate in the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show & Toronto Antique and Vintage Market on Saturday, October 3-4, 2015 for the SPECIAL ETSY DISCOUNTED FEE of $300 instead of the regular $350 table fee.  We still need at least 2/3 MORE to secure the special rate for them.  If you are a vintage vendor that would like to participate in this huge vintage show, please contact Taryn Olson, TEST Vintage Leader, tarynjlee@hotmail.com.  Friday, August 14th is the absolute last day to get a group of 6+ sellers together to make this special Etsy rate to happen.  This is one of the biggest vintage shows in Toronto with lots of traffic, high caliber dealers and great shoppers!


Affiliated Showsales is offering Etsians a special deal on the vendor fee if a group of more than 6 Etsy vintage shops are interested in participating for the weekend.  They have offered to set up an Etsy area and provide a special discount rate of $50 per booth - that's $300 for a 10' x 10' area (without a corner location) rather than the regular vendor cost of $350.  The fee covers both days, sharing of booths is not permitted.  Application deadline is set for August 14th, 2015.  I can compile a list of interested vendors and contact Affiliated Showsales as soon as possible with a list if I hear back that more than 6 would like to participate to solidify the special rate.

For the love of all things vintage and retro! A group for like minded vintage/retro lovers who want to know more about the vast world and history of vintage. To help each other procure vintage/retro items for ourselves, our homes and our collections! Swaps, markets and road trips will most definitely be on the agenda. Vintage themed and inspired events will a eventual goal! We are not rare...but far between...lets meet up!
