Monday, October 19, 2015

And we're back!!

After a year hiatus, we are pleased to announce our second Christmas Marketplace!

Christmas time is prime time for craft shows so we wanted to let you know all about our cozy handmade show, at the:

Church of Saint Stephen-in-the-Fields
103 Bellevue Ave at College St, in the Kensington Market neighbourhood

We're planning an intimate show at this smaller, but central venue and we will be accepting a juried group of handmade and vintage vendors. Vendors have a choice of sharing one half of a 8 foot by 2.5 foot table (or 4' x 2.5') in the main body of the church, or bringing their own table/display for the all-purpose room (where the treats and workshops will be!)

There will be music!!
& treats!!
AND!!!

A visit from SANTA!

Applications due: November 6th 2015
Please note: TEST shows are limited to members of the Toronto Etsy Street Team; we cannot accept applications from non-members. If you are an Etsy Handmade seller who lives in Toronto and would like to apply join our team, please follow this link and press the 'Apply to Team' button.

Toronto Etsy Street Team Pop-Up Market at Big Magic Book Tour

Sunday, October 4, 2015

The Toronto Etsy Street Team was very excited to be a part of the Big Magic Book Tour, hosting a pop-up market when Elizabeth Gilbert, the worldwide bestelling author of Eat, Pray, Love, came to speak at the Isabel Bader Theatre on Monday, September 28th! The audience had a chance to shop the market before and after Gilbert discussed her highly-anticipated new book, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear.

We love the idea of welcoming creativity into your life, and celebrating Gilbert's book with a handmade market. You can read more about what Elizabeth Gilbert has learned about creativity and shares in the book on the Etsy Blog. Our thanks to Penguin Random House Canada for the invitation and our hosts Indigo at the event!
