A Holiday Arts and Craft Show at the Fox Theatre Wants You!

When? Saturday December 17, 2011

What? A diverse mix of local makers of fine, cool, funky, sassy art and craft selling their wares at the stunning Fox Theatre in the Beaches. The sale is from 11 am to 5:30 pm.

Fox Theatre together with TEST's own girlcancreate is looking for a variety of makers. Whether you make jewelry, clothes, art, stuffies, zines, buttons…we want you.

Please note that we cannot accept any makers of food or drink due to building health codes.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURES

The deadline for applications is midnight on September 15, 2011. All applicants will be notified of participation by the third week of September.

Three-day fine art event, the Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show & Sale, returns to the Sunnyside Pavilion from September 9-11, 2011.

For the fourth time, the show will feature painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture, alongside art installations and live music performances by dynamic emerging and established artists.

We are now accepting applications and creative proposals for the September 2011 edition.

Call to Artisans

The Toronto Waldorf School Arts & Crafts Fair brings together over 50 artisans selling unique hand crafted items. The Arts & Crafts Fair uniquely positions artisans to reach buyers seeking high quality handmade items. In addition to attracting the wider community, this event in particular attracts the Waldorf schools community, people who deeply value and invest in fine craftsmanship, natural materials, and environmentally sound products.

The Arts & Crafts Fair takes place concurrently with two other greatly attended events at the school: The Annual Candlelight Children's Fair, and the Village Market, a weekly organic farmers’ market. Artisans can expect an attendance of over 1000 people from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and beyond.

The Toronto Waldorf School (TWS) is situated within the community of Thornhill, Ontario, a few minutes north of Toronto. It is conveniently located 2 km north of Highways 7/407 on the west side of Bathurst Street. There is ample free parking. The venue is easily accessible by public transit. TWS is also wheelchair accessible.


Interested artisans are warmly invited to download an Application Package.
Space is limited. Please apply by August 31, 2011.
