Come out to Danforth East for a weekend full of kids activities, good eats, live music and shop from an amazing selection of local artisans!

When: Sat. September 14 + Sun. September 15, 10am - 5pm
Where: East Lynn Park (on Danforth just East of Coxwell)

Come on down to the Danforth East Arts Fair, bring the family (including any furry family members - it's dog friendly!) hang out in the park and browse over 50 local artisans including T.E.S.T's own IM Wired, LureArts, Heart's Haven, Little Ra's, Lynn's Lids, Coy Depot, Stitch & Spoke and thunderpeep designs

Danforth East Arts Fair this weekend!

There will be more than 50 handmakers, including TEST's own Michelle of thunderpeep, Katie from yourheartshaven, Natalie of Fragmentalists and Pam of lurearts, food and music and more!

Vendor Call: Danforth East Arts Fair

Each year the Danforth East Community Association (DECA) hosts the Danforth East Arts Fair at in their bustling community at the East Lynn Park. They are accepting applications now for this two day juried event. DECA also hosts a weekly Farmer’s Market in the same location each week. Because of the constant demand for crafts at that farmers market they began to host this well attended annual event and the community members are happy to shop from and support local artisans. Vender Call: Danforth East Arts Fair

The Danforth East Arts Fair will be held at East Lynn Park on September 17 and 18, 2011. This high-quality show grew from consistent demand for crafts at the Danforth East Community Association’s weekly farmers’ market.

We welcome applications from exhibitors working in a wide range of traditional and contemporary art forms to participate in our juried show.

We provide a welcome package for exhibitors, nearby parking, two uniformed security guards overnight, advertising, publicity, portable washrooms, acoustic entertainment, an information booth and volunteers to help with hauling.

The early application deadline is April 30, 2011. The second deadline is June 15, 2011. Given the success of last year’s show, we strongly encourage artisans to apply by April 30 to ensure the greatest chance of acceptance. Some categories fill up quickly.

Applications are reviewed and selected by a jury. We expect approximately 50 artisans will be selected to participate in the 2011 show.

Community members and local media gave the event rave reviews. Our 2009 survey results indicated 95% of the artisans who took part would participate again.
