Vendor call: Oasis Urban Market

Oasis Urban Market is seeking vendors for its inaugural year. It is located at the historic 5 Drive-In in Oakville. The event goes on all summer long, every Saturday starting May 28^th – September 24th, from 8am – 4pm. Their goal is to make this the largest outdoor market in the GTA. 

They are accepting vendor application all throughout the summer and were just able to confirm a larger event space, so are able to accept more vendors for all dates. They are happy to offer low vendor rates of $35-$45 per date and have low cost tent and table rentals for the vendors that may need them. There will be a variety of food trunks, live entertainment and are happy to offer a full farmers market with local produce from a farm in Burlington.  They will be advertising on several platforms such has newspaper and will have a radio ad on Fresh FM and some other Chorus Radio Group affiliates.

Vendor Call: Crafstock

White Oaks’ sixth annual arts and crafts sale, Craftstock 2014, will take place at White Oaks Secondary School on Saturday, November 1st, from 9am - 3 pm (set up at 8am, take down by 3 pm).

White Oaks is located at 1330 Montclair Drive in Oakville.

 There will be an expected 1500 people coming through based on previous years. This is also part of a larger "craftcrawl" with Iroquois Ridge High School. We are looking for about 50 vendors.

Fee: 50$ (tables will be provided)

How to register: Send in the Vendor Information Form along with a cheque for 50$ made out to White Oaks Secondary School (as directed on the Vendor Form)

Application Deadline: October 21.

The Silver Bells Christmas Market & Craft Show is a first annual event at the SVCC banquet complex in Oakville. Hosted by the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada (UWAC), the event is intended to become an annual “one-of-a-kind” show and sale allowing local artisans to sell their unique and original merchandise. Call for submissions: Common Thread International

Common Thread International Exhibitions, which will be held in Oakville: Nov. 2 - 18, 2012 and in Toronto: Nov. 9- 25, 2012 is calling for artists' submissions for their:
1) Artwork and Interior Gallery Installations
2) Outside Environmental Installations
3) “Fibre Inspired” Exhibition
4) Proposals for Independent Projects

This sounds like a great opportunity for fibre artists, and those inspired by textiles!
