Weekend Exhibition Opportunities at Artscape Wychwood Barns

Artscape is currently accepting submissions from visual artists, craftspeople and designer/makers who wish to participate in the Barns Art Market, taking place one Saturday a month from May to October 2013.

Applications due April 1, 2013
Participation Fee: $73.45 ($65+HST) per market

Now in its third year, the Barns Art Market is a fine art and craft show at Artscape Wychwood Barns, an award-winning arts and community hub in midtown Toronto. The market takes place one Saturday a month from May to October. Each show features 25+ exhibitors selling jewellery, paintings, prints, ceramics, clothing and more. Participants in the Barns Art Market will be selected by a professional jury, with consideration to diversity of medium and quality of work being sold. Artists are welcome to participate in a maximum of three market dates in 2013.
The Barns Art Market coincides with The Stop’s popular Farmers’ Market, which attracts hundreds of people to the area every Saturday. The market is also a great opportunity to visit the many vibrant artist studios located in Artscape Wychwood Barns.

How to Apply
Interested exhibitors are asked to submit by April 1, 2013: a completed Application Form, visual documentation of their recent work and the participation fee of $73.45 ($65+HST) per market. Please visit us online to view the Call for Submissions and download an application form.

Artists, craftspeople and designer/makers have the opportunity to utilize a 10’ x 10’ booth space for which they need to supply their own structure and/or display equipment. Participants in the Barns Art Market will be selected by a professional jury, with consideration to diversity of medium and quality of work being sold. Artists are welcome to participate in a maximum of three market dates in 2013.

The Holiday Art Market will feature 25+ exhibitors on Sunday, December 9 and Sunday, December 16 in the Covered Street Barn. Artists, craftspeople and designer/makers have the opportunity to utilize a 10’ x 10’ space for which they need to supply their own booth structure and/or display equipment. Participants in the Holiday Art Market will be selected by a professional jury, with consideration to diversity of medium and quality of work being sold. The Distillery Art Market features exhibitors in outdoor spaces around The Distillery Historic District in Toronto. The Market takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 6pm from May to September.
