PINK MARKET is a craft, fashion, art & literature fair. Bringing a handmade touch and DIY ethos to Pride Toronto 2015, the first-ever Pink Market will showcase the work of 25 creators during the massively popular festival's closing weekend.

Art news: Pride in Toronto

It's World Pride in Toronto!

If you're looking for some art with your Pride celebrations, check out Pride in Canada which features mosaics from TEST's own Natalie Jubb of Fragmentalist.

Opening today and running for 10 days until July 5^th is the Pride in Canada exhibit. This show features 11 amazing artists and sculptors. The gallery at Artscape Youngplace (180 Shaw St., #107) is open 12-7 pm daily. The Gala Opening Party is this Friday June 27^th, 6-11 pm. There'll be wine & music, it's free, and you're invited.

Glad Day Bookshop will be hosting a queer and trans craftfair to kick off Pride Week on Sunday June 23rd. We still have 7-10 spaces left for crafters and artist to sell their wonderful wares.

Here are the details:

(10am set-up)
598 Yonge St(near Wellesley TTC)
In our 3rd floor event space

Free to the public

Info for Vendors:
Set-up is at 10am, clean up needs to be done by 6pm
You have a choice between one of these three options:

Full table (6ft x 2.5ft) $20
Half table (3ft x 2.5ft) $12
BYOT (max 6 feet) $8 – Bring your own table!

Handmade for Pride

This year Toronto's Pride Parade falls on Canada Day, Saturday July 1st, and we are mid-way through Pride Week. There are all sorts of great events in the city to celebrate Toronto’s LGBTTIQQ2SA communities.

We'd like to point out some work by T.E.S.T. members! (Any TESTies with more items for Pride, be sure to let us know, and tag your items "Pride" so we can include you.).

Choose Your Own Adventure by Steven Beckly

T.E.S.T. member and photographer Steven Beckly is part of the "That's So Gay" show at the Gladstone Hotel, 3rd and 4th floor galleries on until July 29. Check out the official Opening tomorrow night!
