Vendor Call: Art In The Park

Friday, June 28, 2013

Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) invites artists and artisans to participate in ART IN THE PARK 2013. After a much-anticipated hiatus, ART IN THE PARK was re-launched in celebration of VAM’s 35th anniversary last year. This unique art fair allows artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in the splendour of Riverwood and Visual Arts Mississauga’s Art Centre. Guests also enjoy talented local musicians throughout the day and select food vendors.

Exhibitor space is available in the Art Centre, the Historic MacEwan Barn as well as on our front lawn. Applications to exhibit are due by Friday August 9. CLICK HERE for this year`s Call for Entry (also attached if more convenient).

(Note: applying as an exhibitor does not guarantee acceptance into ART IN THE PARK - applicants will be notified of their application status the following week once the events committee has deliberated). Please forgive any duplicate emails – you must be on more than one list!

The Bradford Arts Guild (BAG) is pleased to present its first annual MeadowFest at Scanlon Creek.   This beautiful conservation area offers vendors a natural environment filled with hiking trails, trees, a kids’ play area and lots of open spaces to enjoy. Welcoming and casual, families will enjoy spending a day at the park as they can bring a picnic, buy a lunch, hike, listen to music, experience a performance, watch an art demo or take part in many of the creative activities. Mostly, they will want to wander through the unique marketplace of  one-of-a-kind artists and artisans from all over Ontario.
