Rate: They are offering FREE tables for the first year.

The space is located right on Queen, and will include the covered driveway to the back of the building, under a covered parking lot behind the building. The owner said that they are willing to pull out all the stops in order to make it a great event, ie, they will buy and supply the tables, lighting, heat lamps for the colder months, onsite representation and upkeep, and whatever else is required.

Adhoc is launching there first collective retail pop-up store. They are working with Cadillac Fairview to launch this pilot project at The Promenade Shopping Centre, and They will be adding various other locations in the near future.

This is a pop up shop. They are still looking for both full time vendors (minimum 1 month commitment) and consignment items that we will have a salesperson looking after.

The Weekend Vendors Market*


WHAT: The Weekend Vendors Market is an open-air market featuring the creations of 30+ local small business owners.

WHEN:  Every Saturday and Sunday during the months of August-end of October 2014.(10am - 5pm)

WHERE:  1630 Dundas Street West, Toronto. Just west of Dundas St. West and Brock St.

We are seeking:  handcrafted quality items made and produced in Canada by yourself as well as flea/vintage items. Ex: accessories, new and vintage clothing, jewelery, paper goods, art, knits, vintage homewares, natural beauty products, baby goodies, DIY kits,natural makeup etc.

 PRICING: Please make sure that your products are priced and or that your signage clearly states your pricing.

COSTWe can offer you 2 types of spaces. $40/day for a small (4 x 3ft) and $80/day for a large (8x 3ft). Displays can’t exceed 10 feet in height.
**We have limited tables available for the show and they are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Promotion The Weekend Vendors Market will be publicized via various media outlets, the local BIA, social media, as well as through a poster & flyer campaign and paid advertising.  Vendors will be provided with e-vites to distribute to their own contacts, pdf’s and jpg’s.

**NOTE: It's expected that ALL Weekend vendors actively help spread the word about the event through your social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest), mailing lists, websites and blogs. The more buzz we can build up the higher turnout of paying customers.

1.  CONTACT INFO & WEB LINKS - Your name,  the name of your business & your contact details: e-mail, website/Etsy address & tel. number.

2.  YOUR PROFILE -  Provide 1-2 short paragraphs describing your wares & process ~ what you make and how you make it (with which materials).  Also, list your price range, where you currently sell (shops, on-line, other shows), and outline which specific items you would like to sell at the market.

3. Dates that you would like to apply for (single days are accepted as well)

September 6&7, 13&14, 20&21, 27&28
Oct: 4&5, 11&12, 18&19, 25&26

4.BOOTH PREFERENCE - Identify which size booth you'd prefer (small or large)

5. Up to 3 photographs that can be easily uploaded onto facebook/ instagram/twitter as well as images that you feel confident being used for advertising. If you would rather not have your images used for advertising or sent out to media or bloggers please indicate and enclose images for judging only. If you can't send images we will refer to your website.

Deadline: Spaces are booked on a first come first served basis and are limited. The earlier you apply the more likely you are to get what you request.

NOTIFICATION: We will be sending out acceptance letters every Monday, and Friday. If you want us to send your letter to a secondary email address please include it in your application.

PAYMENTBooth fees must be received within 5 business days of being accepted. Payment is to be made PRIOR to the event and can be made by e-transfer, paypal or credit card or in person (August 1stth onward). Payment particulars will be given out if you have been selected for the market. ***Failure to pay within the 5 business days will result in loosing your space(s). All payments are final and non refundable. ***

Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) invites artists and artisans to participate in our new holiday artisan marketplace 2013 in the pre-winter splendor of Visual Arts Mississauga’s Art Centre in Riverwood.

Guests will enjoy a unique variety of art and handmade gifts created locally like jewellery, ceramics, smaller paintings and mixed media, fibre, glass and woodwork. HOLIDAY ARTISAN MARKETPLACE is a juried two-day weekend event featuring works that are suitable for gift-giving!

Vendor Call: Holiday edition of the Sassy Little Craft Show

t's that time of the year again...the partners in craft are putting on a Holiday edition of the Sassy Little Craft show. We are here to offer you an afternoon of selling your handmade items, while enjoying some eats, drinks, holiday cheer, and great company. 

Here is the call for entries for the 
Holiday edition of the Sassy Little Craft Show:
 
Date: Sunday December 1st, 2013
Place: The Central
603 Markham Street (Bloor & Bathurst, near Suspect Video) 
Time: 2pm-8pm
Cost is $40 per vendor. Tables and chairs are provided. The tables are 2x2ft, standard bar sized tables, so displays need to be kept small. You will need to bring your own table coverings and battery-powered lights. We suggest items under $50, which seems to be the best selling point.

Vendor Call: Art In The Park

Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) invites artists and artisans to participate in ART IN THE PARK 2013. After a much-anticipated hiatus, ART IN THE PARK was re-launched in celebration of VAM’s 35th anniversary last year. This unique art fair allows artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in the splendour of Riverwood and Visual Arts Mississauga’s Art Centre. Guests also enjoy talented local musicians throughout the day and select food vendors.

Exhibitor space is available in the Art Centre, the Historic MacEwan Barn as well as on our front lawn. Applications to exhibit are due by Friday August 9. CLICK HERE for this year`s Call for Entry (also attached if more convenient).

(Note: applying as an exhibitor does not guarantee acceptance into ART IN THE PARK - applicants will be notified of their application status the following week once the events committee has deliberated). Please forgive any duplicate emails – you must be on more than one list!
